Puréed foods are foods that have been blended or mashed into a smooth, pudding-like consistency. This method helps by eliminating most lumps or large pieces making the food easier to eat and digest. This method requires cooking and can be done using a blend or food processor to make foods such as green beans, potatoes, carrots, and more smooth and easier for the infant to eat. This is great for ages 4-6 months.
Remember: The age recommendation is just a suggestion, each baby develops at his or her speed. Remember to take it slow and watch for signs of readiness before moving onto the next stage.
